Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan during his stay in Odisha State attended the 68th Foundation Day Celebrations of Janta High School Kuhudi in Khordha District. On this occasion, he said that the pride of the nation is destroyed by doing bad deeds.
Governor Harichandan, an alumnus of Janata High School, in his address to the chief guest, said to go ahead and work with dignity for the country. Do not make your life an object of pity and hatred, but dedicate it to the service of the country, motherland and humanity. He said that mother tongue and mankind should not be oppressed. Exploitation is not the tradition of any community. No nation became great by exploitation. The welfare of the poor of the country will happen only when exploitation is abandoned.
On this occasion Ms. Aparajita Shadangi, Member of Parliament, Bhubaneswar was present as a special guest at the function. Vidhubhushan Patnaik, former principal of the school, Balwant Rai, social worker, parents and teachers, current and former students of the school were present in large numbers in the programme.
