Raipur: National Talent Search Examination and National Instrument cum Merit Scholarship Examination on 13 December: Last date of application is 24 October

Raipur, 19 October 2020. Through the National Talent Search Examination and National Instrument cum Merit Scholarship Examination, outstanding students get an opportunity to showcase their talent. National Talent Search Examination Stage-1 and National Instrument-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination is conducted in the month of November. This examination will be held on December 13 this year at 48 examination centers in the state. Students who appear in the examination can apply to the school studying till 24 October. The National Talent Search Examination will include students studying in class 10th and students studying in class 8th in the National Instrument-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination.   
The National Talent Search and National Instrument-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination will be conducted offline by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). The format of advertisement, list of examination centers, center code, application form and format of admit card can be downloaded from website, complete, full, free, etc. No fee is charged for these exams. The application is required to be submitted by the Principal in the studying school by attaching the necessary documents in the filled application form cum admission form.
The syllabus for the National Talent Search Examination is scheduled up to class 10th and the National Instrument cum Merit Scholarship Examination for Class VIII in schools. The examinations are conducted through both Hindi and English mediums. There will be two question papers for both exams. On December 13 from 10 am to 12 am, the Intellectual Aptitude Test paper-one and from 1 pm to 3 pm the academic aptitude test will be paper-two. There will be 100 questions of intellectual aptitude test in National Talent Search Examination and 90 questions of Intellectual Aptitude Test in National Instrument cum Merit Scholarship Examination. Similarly, in the second question paper for the National Talent Search Examination, 20 for Mathematics, 40 for Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and Social Science (History, Geography,) Civics and Economics) will have 40 questions of the subject. Each objective question is numbered one to one.
The National Talent Search Examination will include students studying in class 10 in all the recognized schools in the state of Chhattisgarh. There is no income constraint to appear in this exam. The first level examination is conducted by the State Council of Educational Research and Training. The second level examination will be conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi. The selected participants in the second level examination were given by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi, Government of India, Rs 1250 per month in class 11 and 12, Rs 2000 per month on graduation and postgraduate level and Ph.D. The scholarship is awarded in accordance with the Norms of the University Grants Commission.
National Instrument-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination conducted by the Government of Chhattisgarh Government and non-government grant, studying in the urban body school, whose annual total income of father or guardian does not exceed one and a half lakh rupees. Students selected in this examination will get the benefit of one scholarship provided by the government. Scholarship of one thousand rupees per month is provided to selected students till class 12th.
