Raipur: Naljal scheme gift to five villages

Raipur, 02 November 2020. On the initiative of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, drinking water system in rural areas is getting even better. As per the intention of Chhattisgarh State Government, every possible effort is being made by Public Health Engineering Department for better implementation of drinking water system in rural areas. In this series, five villages of Rajnandgaon and Bemetara district have received the gift of Rs 2 crore 30 lakh 50 thousand by the Public Health Engineering Department.

    An order to this effect has been issued by the Ministry of Public Health Engineering Department, Mahanadi Bhavan. According to the order issued, under the Jal Jeevan Mission, Rs 66 lakh 78 thousand for the new Naljal scheme in Chhuria development block village Jithratola in Rajnandgaon district and Rs 68 lakh 33 thousand in the income village of Khairagarh development block and 95 lakh 36 thousand in Farhad village of Rajnandgaon development block. Approval has been given for the retrofitting tap water scheme of Rs. Similarly, the establishment of retrofitting tap water scheme costing Rs 56 lakh 74 thousand in village Chicholi of Nawagarh development block of Bemetara district and Rs 60 lakh 29 thousand in village Moheranga of Bemetara development block has been approved.
