Chief Minister Mr. Baghel attended the 75th convention of Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj
Raipur, 13 February 2021. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended the 75th two-day convention of Chhattisgarh Manwa Kurmi Kshatriya Samaj organized at village Alda in Tilda, block today. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that Chhattisgarh is an agrarian state and Kurmi society is mainly associated with agriculture sector. In this way, Manwa Kurmi society has an important contribution in the development of Chhattisgarh state. He said that mutual brotherhood and cooperation is necessary for the unity and strengthening of society. The society is like the Ganges and social harmony will develop in the society due to the unity of all. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced Rs 20 lakh each for Tilda Samajik Bhavan and Mangal Bhavan and to create a sub-health center in Alda.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that our government is moving forward in the path of development by taking all the people together. He said that the dreamers of the establishment of the state had conceived the development of Chhattisgarh. The government is working to realize those dreams and is also saving the cultural heritage of the state. The Chief Minister said that new sources of employment and income have come out of the Godhan scheme in the state. Many people are earning profit along with employment by selling cow dung and making organic manure through Gothan Samiti. Women’s groups are becoming self-sufficient. A project is being prepared for making ethanol from paddy in the state. This will create new employment for the people of the state and will increase the income for the people and will create a self-sufficient state.
Dr. Ramkumar Sirmaur, Central President of the Manwa Kurmi Society said that all the people in the society should do such important work, which will give a direction to the society and all round development of the state. There should also be effort and work for rituals in society and family. This will make the coming generations familiar with their socio-cultural heritage and get rid of various social evils. Being a sacrament of the society will purely develop the society in the true sense. In the program, socially talented children, who have achieved the success of national and state level, were honored. A blood-donation camp was organized by the youth organization of Kurmi Samaj. More than 70 blood donation heroes donated blood in this camp. Arrival, Asmita, Chhattisgarh’s Public Sports and Industrial Safety Handbook was released on this occasion.
