Raipur. MIC (Mayor in Council) meeting was held in the capital today under the chairmanship of Mayor Ejaz Dhebar. In this meeting, MIC gave instructions to the concerned officials after discussing 10 agendas. Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, MIC member, Additional Commissioner and Corporation Secretary Vinod Pandey along with the officers in charge of the departments were present in the meeting. These issues were discussed in the MIC meeting

In the MIC meeting today, road widening on both sides from Sharda Chowk and Phool Chowk to Tatyapara Chowk in Raipur was discussed. Along with this, a committee was formed to determine the money for road widening, which will include 3 members of MIC, 1 retired officer and local councilor.

At the same time, in the MIC meeting this year, a letter will be sent again for the demand of 200 crores to strengthen the drainage system and prevent waterlogging. Let us tell you, last year in 2023, during the Congress government, drainage systems were built by spending crores of rupees to deal with the problem of waterlogging due to rain.

Apart from this, the proposal to call for tender for street light arrangement from Tatiband Chowk to Telibandha Chowk was approved. These issues were discussed in the MIC meeting
