Will launch “Chhattisgarh Rural Housing Justice Scheme”
Under the scheme, 47 thousand 90 homeless families of Socio-Economic Survey 2023 and 6,99,439 families of permanent waiting list of PMAY will be benefited.
Chhattisgarh government will give money to build housing
A total of 10 lakh 76 thousand beneficiaries will be benefited from the Awas Nyay Yojana in a phased manner in the coming years.

Lok Sabha MP Shri Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the “Chhattisgarh Rural Housing Justice Scheme” today on 25th September at 2 pm in the “Housing Justice Conference” organized in village Parsada (Sakri) of Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district. . Under the Rural Housing Justice Scheme, 47,090 houseless families of the state are being benefited in the first phase. A total of 10 lakh 76 thousand beneficiaries will be benefited in a phased manner in the coming years. Along with this, the Chhattisgarh government has taken the decision to sanction housing to the remaining 6,99,439 eligible families in the permanent waiting list of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural).
On this occasion, MP Shri Gandhi and Chief Minister Shri Baghel will distribute an amount of Rs 5 crore at the rate of Rs 1 lakh each to 500 beneficiaries of “Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana”. In the conference, Shri Gandhi and Shri Baghel will inaugurate and do Bhoomi Pujan of 414 development and construction works costing Rs 669 crore 69 lakh for Bilaspur district and will distribute appointment letters to 2594 selected teachers and forest rights letters to 1117 beneficiaries in urban areas. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. T.S. attended the conference. Singhdev, former Union Minister Ms. Kumari Selja, MP Mr. Deepak Baij, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant will attend as special guests. The program will be presided over by Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey. This conference was organized by Parishad Fire and SDRF. It is being held in the field.
On this occasion, the guests will visit the various stalls set up at the venue and after meeting the beneficiaries of the schemes, they will distribute housing approval orders, checks for assistance under the schemes and tricycles etc. On this occasion, the Garment Factory Ganiyari-Nagoi run by a self-help group will also be inaugurated by the guests.

Rashmi Ashish Singh, MLA Bilha Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, MLA Shri Shailesh Pandey, Dr. Shri Krishnamurthy Bandhi, Dr. Mrs. Renu Jogi, Shri Rajneesh Singh and District Panchayat President Bilaspur Shri Arun Singh Chauhan will be specially present.
