“Shri Gandhi launched Chhattisgarh Rural Housing Justice Scheme”
Under the scheme, 47 thousand 90 homeless families of Socio-Economic Survey 2023 and 6,99,439 families of permanent waiting list of PMAY will be benefited.
Chhattisgarh government will give money to build housing
A total of 10 lakh 76 thousand beneficiaries will be benefited from the Awas Nyay Yojana in a phased manner in the coming years.

MP Shri Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today launched the “Chhattisgarh Rural Housing Justice Scheme” in the “Housing Justice Conference” organized in village Parsada (Sakri) of Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district.
Under the Rural Housing Justice Scheme, 47,090 houseless families of the state are being benefited in the first phase. A total of 10 lakh 76 thousand beneficiaries will be benefited in a phased manner in the coming years. Along with this, the Chhattisgarh government has taken the decision to sanction housing to the remaining 6,99,439 eligible families in the permanent waiting list of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural).
On this occasion, MP Shri Gandhi and Chief Minister Shri Baghel distributed an amount of Rs 5 crore at the rate of Rs 1 lakh each to 500 beneficiaries of “Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Awas Sahayata Yojana”.
In the conference, Shri Rahul Gandhi and Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 414 development and construction works worth Rs 669 crore 69 lakh for Bilaspur district and during this, appointment letters were given to 2594 selected teachers and forest rights to 1117 beneficiaries in urban areas. Letters were distributed.
On this occasion, the guests visited the various stalls set up at the venue and met the beneficiaries of the schemes and distributed house approval orders, checks of assistance amount under the schemes and tricycles etc. On this occasion, the Garment Factory Ganiyari-Nagoi run by a self-help group was also inaugurated by the guests.2016-17
