Raipur, 9 September 2021. Member of Parliament Shri Rahul Gandhi had a sudden meeting with a farmer family of Chhattisgarh during his padyatra to visit Vaishno Devi today. Mr. Gandhi spent some time with the farmer and his family sitting nearby. When he inquired about his condition, the farmer enthusiastically informed him about the farmer friendly schemes of Bhupesh Baghel government of Chhattisgarh. The farmer said – “Hammar government does a very good job.” The farmer told Shri Rahul Gandhi that it has been only two and a half years for the government, Bhupesh ji is doing very good work for the farmers and forest dwellers. 6 thousand rupees are being given to the landless agricultural laborers. The farmer told him that he has earned 85 thousand rupees so far by selling cow dung under the Godhan Nyay Yojana. I have also bought a scooty with this money. The farmer said that very good work is being done in Gauthan as well.
