Raipur, 09 March 2021. Education, skill development, industrial development, development of agricultural corridors, innovative digital solutions, urban and rural development, Buddhist tourism in Chhattisgarh between the state government and India Center Foundation in their office hall located in the assembly premises here today in the presence of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. The MoU was signed for overall development through alternative development model for infrastructure sectors. Signed by Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua, Principal Secretary, Industries Department on behalf of the State Government and Mr. Sankalp Shukla, Trustee, Manager of the Foundation on behalf of India Center Foundation. School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, Food Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, Principal Secretary of School Education Department, Dr. Alok Shukla, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation, Mr. Arun Prasad, Joint Secretary, Department of Industries, Mr. Anurag Pandey were also present.
Under this MoU, the above sectors of Chhattisgarh will be strengthened through Alternative Development Model . The model will focus exclusively on the India-Japan Global Partnership and the partnership between its global partners. Alternative development models will implement socio-economic development strategies focused on energy-efficiency, environmental responsibility and sustainability (EES). This model will ensure proper utilization of its core resources and environment. In this model, efforts will be made to ensure Chhattisgarh’s global presence by developing education, skill development, industrial development, development of agricultural corridors, innovative digital solutions, urban and rural development, Buddhist tourism infrastructure.
