Raipur, 16 March 2021. Monitoring of the reading and writing campaign in Chhattisgarh will be uploaded along with the basic literacy entrant and volunteer teacher guide, uploading the photos of the learners. This information was given at the state level meeting organized for the Public Finance Management System under the campaign.
Mr. Prashant Pandey, Assistant Director of State Literacy Mission Authority (SLMA) and Nodal Officer of Reading and Writing Campaign present in the meeting, said that the complete information about the target set in the entire state under the campaign on cgschool.in portal Has been uploaded. Basic literacy entrant Aakhar Jhapi and Volunteer Teacher’s Guide have been made available in the districts for the learners. Arrangements for intensive monitoring have also been made by uploading photos of the entrants, guides, learners and volunteers in the portal. E-Prime of 24 lessons, e-training materials, videos, training manuals T-1 and T-2, time table, registration form, feedback, certificates and all the necessary materials including certificates are easily available in the portal and YouTube.
Shri Pandey said that the role of skilled instructors has been given an important place in monitoring and evaluation in the reading and writing campaign. In view of this, orientation and training of source person, skilled trainer has been completed at the state level. The training of volunteer teachers up to the development block level of the state is in its final stages. In this episode, the identification work of the ward in-charge under the Gram Panchayat in-charge and the urban body has been completed. In the coming time, the orientation training of these in-charge will also be completed and they will also be given great responsibility in the campaign.
It was informed in the meeting that a state literacy center in SCERT at the state level and a district literacy center in the diet of districts have been formed. Which will provide full academic in this campaign. The MoU has also been completed from UNICEF, the international body for the smooth operation of this campaign. Along with this, special support of social organization Samarth and Pratham is also being taken.
Under this campaign, HDFC Bank Branch Manager Aftab Ahmed, Area Head Abhay Kumar Sing and Assistant Manager Ranjit Panda, District Education Officer of Districts, District Project Officer of District Literacy Mission Authority, Accounts Work Staff and One technical employee from each district referred Public Finance Management System (PFMS) through PPT. During the meeting, the officials of the bank explained the process of creating usernames and passwords and the process in a phased manner and also gave one day homework to the trainees. The implementation of the PFMS will be finalized by a re-meeting after one day of homework. Project advisors from the State Literacy Mission Authority, Mr. Sunil Roy, Ms. Neha Shukla and Mr. Mahesh Kumar Verma were specially present at the meeting.
