Raipur, 18 February 2021. The President of Chhattisgarh State Minorities Commission, Mr. Mahendra Chhabra has instructed the officers to benefit the minorities from the schemes of the state government. He has said that while selecting the beneficiaries in the schemes of governance, care should be taken that beneficiaries belonging to minority communities must be included in it. Shri Chhabra reviewed the schemes and programs for minorities in the meeting of officers of various departments in Baloda Bazar district.
The chairman of Chhattisgarh Minorities Commission said that the participation of minority communities should be ensured in all the ambitious schemes of the state government. He said that wherever people belonging to minority communities reside in all cities and villages. Make a boundary wall there by reserving the land for the cemetery, so that no other encroachment can be done there. Besides, he should select the district level committee for minorities soon and has given instructions to the officials to hold the committee meeting. In the meeting, the education department officials have been instructed to make it mandatory in all schools by widely disseminating various scholarship schemes of the government. He said that attendance of officers of various departments should be ensured in the meeting of Minority Commission.
At the meeting, Mr. Hafiz Hussain, Member, Minority Commission, Mr. MR. Khan, Farmer Welfare Council President Mr. Surendra Sharma, District Panchayat President Mr. Rakesh Verma, Collector Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain and other officials were present.
