Motivated to take advantage of public welfare schemes of the government
Raipur, 5 February 2021. The state’s Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia performed Bhumi Pujan of development works in various villages of Dondilohara block of Balod district today. He performed Bhoomipujan for construction of additional room in Government Primary School in Village Khairidih, Bhoomipujan for construction of CC Road in village Sorli, Bhoomipujan for construction of Kalamanch in Village Sanjari, Gram Atargaon and cementization work in village Sambalpur. Minister Smt. Bhendia also gave approval for various development works on the demand of villagers.
Addressing the villagers present on the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan program, Minister Smt. Bhendia said that work is being done for the betterment of all sections of society in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. The rate of malnutrition has come down in the state with the Mukhyamantri Suposhna Yojana run by the Women and Child Development Department, as well as the condition of anemic women is improving. Minister Smt. Bhendia informed the public about the welfare schemes of the government, Chief Minister Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme, Suraji Gram Yojana (Narva, Garuva, Ghurwa, Bari), Godhan Nyaya Yojana etc. and motivated the villagers to get maximum benefits. She appealed to the rural women to become financially strong and self-supporting by joining self-help groups and doing regular work through various schemes. Minister Smt. Bhendia told the farmers that in addition to paddy, they should also harvest Kodo, Kutki, Arhar, gram, maize etc., this will increase the income and strengthen the economic situation. Officers, employees and villagers of various departments were present on the occasion including public representatives of the area, distinguished citizens Mr. Anil Lodha, Mr. Jatin Bhendia, Mr. Gopal Prajapati, Tehsildar Mr. RR Dubey.
