Raipur, 05 October 2021. School Education and Cooperation Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam today participated in the teacher’s felicitation function organized in the premises of Adarsh ​​Bharati Vidyalaya, Nagar Panchayat, Arjunda in Balod district. He honored the retired teachers of Gundardehi assembly constituency in the year 2019-20 and 2020-21 by providing shawls and certificates to outstanding teachers and cluster level teachers. In the Teacher Award Ceremony, 172 outstanding teachers including the relatives of the departed teachers, retired teachers were honored. Minister Dr. Tekam announced Rs 40 lakh for construction of Government High School building in village Kandul of Gundardehi block.
Addressing the Teacher Award ceremony, Minister Dr. Tekam said that the role of teachers is important in the development of the society. Teachers and teachers have been respected since ancient times. Teacher plays an important role in the development of the society along with the guidance of the students. He said that according to the wishes of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, speedy work is being done in the direction of providing quality education in the state. Swami Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium School is being run in all the development blocks of the state to provide quality education to the children in English medium.
