Raipur, 15 February 2021. Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam duly inaugurated the oxygen generator plant at District Hospital Surajpur at a cost of one crore 95 lakh rupees on Sunday, 14 February. This oxygen generator plant has a capacity of producing 125 cylinders of oxygen per day. This plant has been constructed with the technology that it will take oxygen naturally. It can be supplied oxygen daily through pipes in Kovid Hospital, MCH, District Hospital.
Minister Dr. Tekam while congratulating people on the inauguration occasion and said that with the introduction of oxygen generator plant in the district hospital Surajpur, the residents will get the benefit. Now the hospital management and people will not have to wander for oxygen if needed. He said that this was one of the most urgent needs of Surajpur district, which has been fulfilled today. The establishment of oxygen generator plant will help in providing health care to the patients in emergency situation in the district. Parliamentary Secretary Parasnath Rajwade also addressed the program. During this period, District Panchayat President Mrs. Rajkumari Marabi, Vice President Naresh Rajwade, Mrs. Bhagwati Rajwade, Kumar Singhdev, doctors and staff of District Administration and Health Department were present.
