Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel made several important announcements for the region in a meeting organized at Bindranwagarh in Bindranwagarh assembly constituency today. Announcing the setting up of milk processing plant at Amalipadar Rural Industrial Park in Gariaband district, he said that milk producing farmers would get good benefits from this. Chief Minister construction of library building in Gariaband, establishment of 33/11 KV power sub-station in village Pantora to solve the problem of low voltage, construction of high level bridge over Sati drain on Darripara-Jaitpuri-Amdi road of Gariaband block, primary school in village Shobha. Announced construction of health center building, development of Kachna Dhurva in Mainpur area as a tourist center, establishment of Swami Atmanand English medium school in Dhurvaguri.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister talked about the construction of Government High School and Higher Secondary School building in Urmal village of Mainpur, construction of bridge over Mainpur Nala in Mainpur Kala access road, high level bridge in Adgadi Nala, Bagh Nala, Jarhidih Nala, Shobhanala in Raja Padav Gourgaon. Approval for construction, construction of road from village Bamhanijhola to Kodomali road, electrification work in village Kodomali and establishment of primary health center at Indagaon of Mainpur block were also announced.
On reaching Khamharipara helipad of Bindranwagarh in Gariaband district, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel was warmly welcomed by public representatives and general public. At the meeting place, the Chief Minister distributed checks of material and assistance amount to the beneficiaries of various beneficiary-oriented schemes run by the government. The Chief Minister started the program by garlanding the portrait of Chhattisgarh Mahtari. Food Minister Shri Amarjeet Bhagat was also present in the meeting.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that the main objective of the Chhattisgarh government is to increase the income of all sections of people including farmers. He said that the main objective of the meet-meet program is to know whether the benefits of the schemes of the government are reaching the general public or not. During the meeting, farmer Shri Krishna Kumar Nag told the Chief Minister that his loan of Rs 50,000 has been waived off. He has sold 65 quintals of paddy. He has got a lot of relief from the money saved from loan waiver and selling paddy at support price and the amount received from Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Shri Krishna Kumar Nag told that he has bought three tractors, They are earning money by running it on rent. Keshari Sonwani of Women Self Help Group told the Chief Minister that her group has made 359 quintal vermicompost. The amount received from this was distributed among the members of the group. Kishori Sonwani told that she has bought a gold earring for herself from the amount she got.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel took information from the villagers about the ration card and the ration they get from the fair price shop. A beneficiary Geeta Suryavanshi told the Chief Minister that her ration card has been made, 35 kg rice, sugar and salt are available free of cost. Just the gas cylinder has become expensive. Geeta thanked the Chief Minister for opening the factory at Amalipadar under the Rural Industrial Park Scheme. On being asked by the Chief Minister, Arjun Singh Nayak informed about the benefits being received from the Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme. He also told about the regional problems, after listening to which the Chief Minister assured to solve all the problems soon. Class IV student Tanyashree Nagesh and student Kumari Kalash Chandrakar of Swami Atmanand English Medium School answered the questions from Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel in fluent English. They said, Not only education, personality development is also happening in Swami Atmanand School. The Chief Minister congratulated the children for their confidence. Many public representatives and villagers were present in large numbers during the meeting.
