The delegation, under the leadership of Mr. Keshav Prasad Chandra, MLA of Jaijaipur assembly constituency of Sakti, Naveen district, met Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey today at Raj Bhavan and submitted a memorandum.
On this occasion, Shri Chandra apprised the Governor about the problems being faced by the people of Jajaipur assembly constituency. Shri Chandra said that Sakti has been made a new district, but the new sub-division of the Divisional Officer Revenue Office, Jaijaipur has not been made. Therefore people from remote villages of Jaijaipur tehsil are compelled to go to Sakti, the section headquarter. Due to this the people of these remote villages are facing many problems. Mr. Chandra has also submitted a memorandum to Governor Ms. Uike regarding making Jajaipur a new sub-division of Sectional Officer Revenue Office. The Governor has assured all possible help to the members of the delegation. Other members of the delegation Ramesh Chandra, Mahendra Chandra, Kamal Bhargava, Mahesh Sahu, Chetan Banjare etc. were present on this occasion.
