Raipur, 23 October 2020. The State Government has nominated non-government members and institutions for two years in the Steering Committee and Implementation Committee of Chhattisgarh Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (Chhattisgarh Campa). Under these, retired Indian Administrative Service officer in the Steering Committee, Mr. G.S. Dhananjay is nominated as a member. Similarly, the implementation committee includes two non-governmental organizations, the Nova Nature Welfare Society Raipur and the Infrastructure for Climate Resilient Growth Program – ICRG. Raipur is nominated. Apart from these, Shri Pankaj Bandhav of Village and Post Panaka under Rajnandgaon district and Gariaband Smt. Lakshmi Sahu and Zilla Panchayat member Mungeli Shri Vashullah Sheikh have been nominated as members of the Implementation Committee of Campa. They have been nominated as members in the Steering Committee and Implementation Committee of the Campa under the Compensatory Afforestation Fund Act based on the recommendation of the committee constituted under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary. An order to this effect has been issued by the Forest Department at the Ministry (Mahanadi Bhavan) on 22 October.
