   The following important decisions were taken in the meeting of the Council of Ministers held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here today-

  •    A historic decision was taken to constitute separate departments for the welfare and development of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes. This will enable the implementation of welfare schemes and programs for these sections in a more systematic manner.
  •     Transfer, deputation, merger, annexation of district and divisional persons appointed on the third and fourth class in the districts of Bastar and Surguja divisions and Korba and Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi of Bilaspur division notified by the state government. will not be taken out.
  •    The amendment draft was approved in the Interest Subvention Rules 2021 on cooperative loans of farmers. According to which small and marginal farmers will get short term loan up to Rs 3 lakh without interest for horticulture works, fisheries and cow rearing.
  •    In order to implement the activities of allied departments like horticulture, pisciculture, animal husbandry etc. from one place in the interest of farmers in the state, it was decided to construct Krishi Bhawan in Nava Raipur like other departments. 3.14 acres of land has been identified in Sector 19 of Nava Raipur Atal Nagar for construction of agricultural building. For this, it was decided to allot land in Re 1 token.
  •    Chhattisgarh State Hydroelectric Project (Pump Storage Based) Establishment Policy 2022 was approved to encourage investment for setting up of pump storage based hydro power projects in the state.
  •   In order to encourage the establishment of small hydro power projects, the proposal for increase in the Departmental Policy-2012 was approved. At present, it has been decided to extend 10 years in the notification issued for setting up of 25 MW capacity small hydro power project whose period has expired in February 2022.
  •    It was decided to relax the validity period of one year of the selection list issued for the appointment of 43 Assistant Cartographers in the Public Works Department.
  •   Instead of getting the paved roads in the service bank of the irrigation canals of the Water Resources Department, it was decided to get the construction done under the head of other construction departments so that the amount of the Irrigation Department could be utilized in increasing the irrigation potential in the state. To be.
  •   Under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, ex-post facto approval was given to produce a short film on the culture of Chhattisgarh and a documentary on the 75 years of independence and the creation of a new India in the next 25 years.
  •   It was decided to extend the period of guarantee sanctioned to the department from March 2022 to December 2024 (mission period) for availing loan to meet the state share amount under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
  •    In-principle approval was given for the financial structure approved by the State Level High Power Steering Committee for the implementation of Mission AMRUT 2.0 scheme. 169 urban bodies of the state have been included in the Mission Amrit 2.0 scheme. Under which the work of water supply and augmentation scheme in urban bodies has to be done on priority.
  •  Approved the proposal to appoint a Central Public Sector Undertaking as Project Management Consultant through limited tender for construction of Government Medical Colleges and Hospitals on turnkey basis.
  •   Under Component-C of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha and Utthan Maha Abhiyan (PM Kusum) scheme, solar of 810 MW (DC) / 675 MW (AC) capacity to energize agricultural feeders through solar energy. The departmental proposal for setting up a power plant was approved.

           By doing solarization of agricultural pumps, farmers will also get solar energy in addition to the electricity they are getting for the operation of agricultural pumps. Therefore, at the time of availability of solar energy, the operation of agricultural pumps will be done with solar energy and if solar energy is not available, the electricity available at present will continue to be available.

  •    For Bastar and Surguja divisions, 12,489 teachers will be recruited. There are 6,285 assistant teachers, 5,772 teachers and 432 lecturers. It was decided to give 2 bonus marks and a maximum of 10 bonus marks for every year to guest teachers working in the schools of the Education Department.
