The eighth meeting of the State Level High Power Steering Committee under Mission Amrit 2.0 was held here today at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain. State Water Action Plan Tank 2.0 under AMRUT Mission 2.0 was discussed in the meeting. Regarding Mission Amrit 2.0, Chief Executive Officer of State Urban Development Agency, Shri Somil Ranjan Choubey gave detailed information through presentation. The progress of work done under Amrit Mission 2.0 was also reviewed in the meeting.
Officials told in the meeting that under Mission Amrit 2.0, the city water action plan of Korba, Bhilai, Durg, Ambikapur, Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur, Raigarh and Jagdalpur of the state for the year 2023-24 has been made by the concerned urban bodies, based on this only. State Water Action Plan has been prepared. Whose cost is around Rs 911 crore. In the meeting, the action plan of sewerage water treatment plants in Korba, Bhilai, Durg, Ambikapur and Rajnandgaon was discussed in detail. In this meeting organized through video conferencing, Finance Department Secretary Mr. Ankit Anand, Public Health Engineering Department Secretary Dr. S. Bharathidasan, Special Secretary of Housing and Environment Department, Shri M.D. Kavre and Special Secretary of Urban Administration and Development Department, Shri Ayaz Tamboli and other officials were present.
