Instructions to bring progress in geo referencing of land records

A meeting of the Empowered Group of Secretaries under the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana was held at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhawan) under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain. In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on various issues to be included in the State Master Plan of Chhattisgarh under the scheme. The progress of geo-referencing of land records was reviewed in the meeting. In order to bring progress in the geo-referencing work of land records, the officers of the Revenue, Information and Technology and Finance Departments have been directed to prepare a time-bound action plan and complete the work soon. Similarly, the progress of Data Center, Approaching Road, Food Park, Industrial Area and Warehouse was reviewed under Financial Assistance Part-2 under Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana. In the meeting, officials of Women and Child Development Department, Higher Education, Technical Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, Energy, Sports and Youth Welfare and Commerce and Industry and other departments informed about uploading GIS data of their department in Gati Shakti portal. In the meeting organized through video conferencing, Mr. Manoj Kumar Pingua, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Dr. Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary, Agriculture Department, Mr. NN Ekka, Secretary, Revenue Department, Mr. Saransh Mitter, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Industries Development Corporation, Women and Child Development Secretary Mr. Bhuvnesh Yadav, Special Secretary of Finance Department Mrs. Sheetal Shashwat Verma along with officers of Information Technology, Railways, Airport Authority and other departments participated.
