Narmada Dham Punyabhoomi, got a chance to serve the public with the blessings of Mata Narmada

Villagers welcomed by weighing Airsa dish, had traditional food at farmer Gopichand’s house

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was accorded a warm welcome by the villagers of Jewartala by weighing him with the Airsa dish. The villagers thanked the Chief Minister for promoting Chhattisgarhi culture and traditional cuisine. Overwhelmed by this gesture of the villagers, the Chief Minister thanked them for their affection. The Chief Minister had lunch at the house of farmer Shri Gopichand Hirwani in Jewartala. Shri Gopichand served the Chief Minister the rice of paddy grown in his field. Along with typical roti, the Chief Minister tasted idhar vegetable made from urad dal and kochai leaves at the house of farmer Shri Gopichand. as well as tomato chutney ground on the cobwebs, Moonga Bhaji was also fed to the Chief Minister by farmer Shri Gopichand. The Chief Minister met the family members of Shri Gopichand Hirwani and thanked them for the delicious food. The Chief Minister interacted with the children of Shri Gopichand’s house, inquired about their well being and blessed the children. Chief Minister Shri Baghel presented sarees to the women of Shri Gopichand’s house and clothes to the children.

     Electricity distribution office will be established in village Jewartala. A branch of the District Co-operative Central Bank will be opened in Jewartala. Hadghan Reservoir will be beautified and it will be developed as a tourist destination. 50 lakh will be given for the construction of 20 Devgudis in tribal dominated villages of Daundilohara block. Prayas Vidyalaya will be established in village Pinkapar. A road will be constructed from village Pasaud to Keonwat Navagaon via Jhitia under Daundilohara development block. On the demand of Parliamentary Secretary Shri Kunwar Singh Nishad, the Chief Minister also announced a power sub-station at Khambat.

Principal suspended, took feedback of schemes from people

During the meeting, the Chief Minister suspended the Principal of Government Higher Secondary School Pinkapal, Sangeeta Khobragade on the complaint of 12th class student Ms. Harshita Yadav. The student had complained to the Chief Minister that the behavior of the Principal was not good towards the children. Despite the transfer, she remains on the post of principal, and also charges more fees.
     In the program, farmer Sohanlal Kashyap told the Chief Minister that he has 51 acres of agriculture. He appealed to the Chief Minister to extend the deadline for procurement of paddy to November 1. On being asked by the Chief Minister about the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, he said that he is getting the benefit of this scheme. When the Chief Minister asked Mrs. Punetswari Kashyap of Nahanda about the ration, she said that she was getting everything. He told the Chief Minister that we want 100 people to work with the Ripa scheme. The Chief Minister said – make sheds for them.
