Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel reached Rajpur village of Lailunga Vidhan Sabha constituency of Raigad district today during a meet-and-greet program. He prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state by worshiping Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Mata Subhadra in the Shri Jagannath temple located in village Rajpur there. The Chief Minister was welcomed at the meeting site by the local women wearing a hat made of hand made bronze grass and paddy earring. The Chief Minister honored the women who made hats by giving them sarees. Kadamba tree was planted on this occasion.

During the program at village Rajpur, the Chief Minister announced many development works for the people of the area. Primary Health Center Rajpur will be made Community Health Centre, new Primary Health Center will be established in village Basantpur and Ghatgaon, new culvert will be constructed on Kharun river on Lailunga to Potra road, new bridge will be constructed on Kharun river on Katangpara to Salihapara access road. A culvert will be built, new rooms will be constructed in the Government Gheera Guru Rameshwar College, Lailunga and the number of seats will be increased in each faculty, a new indoor stadium will be constructed at Lailunga.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel announced to rename the Higher Secondary and High School of village Rajpur after the donor late Shri Roopdhar Behera. It is noteworthy that the sons of Late Shri Rupdhar Behera, Late Shri Himsagar Behera and Late Shri Kirtan Prasad Behera, realizing the importance of education, donated about 6 acres of their private land. In which Higher Secondary and High School is running since 1986.
Mrs. Anjana Kujur of Lailunga, who came to meet the Chief Minister during the meeting, told Mr. Baghel that her four-year-old son Yuvan had a hole in his heart, which she had given up hope of surviving, but at the initiative of the Chief Minister, she was rescued by the Viva Yojana. The treatment was done and now Yuvan is completely healthy for which he is thankful to the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked how many families get 35 kg of rice, salt and sugar, to which everyone present said yes in one voice. The Chief Minister said that the Chhattisgarh government is working in every way to put money in the pockets of the people, the work of livelihood of the people is also going on.
State toppers Muskan and Mayank were honored by the Chief Minister in the tenth board examination
Chief Minister Shri Baghel felicitated Muskan Agarwal, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School Lailunga, who secured 3rd rank in the 10th Board Examination, and Mayank Goyal, a student who secured 5th rank. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also took a selfie with the toppers and wished them well.
During the meeting, the easy, simple form of the Chief Minister again came to the fore. He himself arranged for the villagers who were drenched in the rain, and after removing the security cordon, made the people drenched in the rain sit in front of them.
When the student asked the Chief Minister, what is the secret of your smile-
Chandni Mishra, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Lailunga, asked the Chief Minister what is the secret of the smile on your face, to which the Chief Minister said that only human beings have got this quality, we should enjoy the work we are doing. If you are studying, you should enjoy reading, so your smile will remain. One should not be happy under stress and serve everyone, the joy that is in service is not found anywhere else. The girl told the Chief Minister that there was a shortage of teachers in her school, on which the Chief Minister said that the shortage would be removed.
During the meeting, Smt. Sushila Pankara of the women’s group told the Chief Minister that she had fulfilled her dream of traveling in an airplane by selling vermi compost, for which she also thanked the Chief Minister. The students of Swami Atmanand English Medium School while talking in English thanked the Chief Minister for opening the school in Lailunga. Shalini Mishra, a student, answered the Chhattisgarhi questions of the Chief Minister in English.
