Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel announced the program organized in Jarhagaon village of Mungeli Vidhansabha
The Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of 18 works worth Rs 33 crore 12 lakh.
On the request of the son, instructions were given to provide assistance under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme for the treatment of cancer-afflicted mother.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel interacted with the general public in village Jarhagaon of Mungeli district today as part of his statewide meet-meet programme. During this, he also made many important announcements including the status of Nagar Panchayat to Jarhagaon and opening of a new college in village Jarhagaon of Mungeli Vidhansabha. On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of 18 development works worth Rs 33 crore 12 lakh. In this, foundation stone works worth Rs 31 crore 35 lakh and inauguration works worth Rs one crore 67 lakh are included. Many public representatives including Parliamentary Secretary Mrs. Rashmi Ashish Singh, MLA Mr. Punnulal Mohle, District Panchayat President Mrs. Lekhni Chandrakar participated in the program.
Mother is suffering from cancer, has mortgaged half an acre farm for treatment, will now be treated under Chief Minister’s Special Assistance Scheme – During the program, Arjun Koshale said that his father had passed away a few years ago, mother is suffering from cancer. Right now I am getting treatment with Ayushman card, but the cost of treatment is very high, for this I have mortgaged half an acre of land. The Chief Minister said that in view of the economic problems of the man in such serious diseases today, we have made the Chief Minister’s Special Health Scheme, In which treatment up to Rs 20 lakh is done. Your mother will be treated with this scheme and also directed the officials in this regard. Vandana told that I live in Mungeli. I also had cancer problem. Under the Chief Minister’s Special Health Assistance Scheme, I received Rs 5 lakh 50 thousand for the treatment of blood cancer. The comfort that has brought me today is because of you. Shabana Qureshi told that eggs are being given along with hot food under the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Campaign. I have seen that my child has got very good benefits. Its weight has increased by four kilos. Madhu told that mobile medical comes to my village on Monday and treatment is also available.
Loan of three lakh rupees was waived off, child is studying in medical college – The Chief Minister also took feedback regarding rural development and agriculture friendly. A farmer said that the Chief Minister’s agriculture-friendly scheme has opened up new avenues of economic prosperity for the farmers. Its direct benefit has reached agriculture. Other important changes are also visible. The farmer told that he has three children. An MBBS, a Nursing studies and an M.A. doing.
Unemployment allowance money came today itself – The Chief Minister took feedback about unemployment allowance. Fulmani told that the message has come in my mobile today itself. By getting unemployment allowances, it will be easier for us to meet our day to day needs. The Chief Minister inquired about the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club. Lakhiram Yadav said that he participated in the Olympic Games and reached the divisional level. He narrated a beautiful song to the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister also reviewed the food aid scheme. Beneficiaries told that they are getting ration regularly. Gomti Sahu told that due to Ripa, the migration to the villages has stopped. Mohan Lal Sahu told that I have sold cow dung worth 86 thousand and am teaching children with the money received from it.
Chief Minister’s announcements – Chief Minister announced 50 lakhs for opening a new college in Jarhagaon, giving Jarhagaon the status of Nagar Panchayat, arranging for city scan in the district hospital, construction of new office building in Municipality Mungeli, construction of new swimming pool in Mungeli, Jarhagaon Upgradation of school in Swami Atmanand School, District Co-operative Bank branch opened in village Amora, 1.5 crore given for arrangement of lighting in Mungeli bypass, upgradation of Jarhagaon PHC to CHC, construction of access road to district hospital in Gram Panchayat Ramgarh, circuit for Jarhagaon Announced construction of access road, road repair and maintenance work from village Setganga to village Kosamatara.
