Raipur Mayor Ejaz Dhebar, City District Congress Committee leader is going to start a big campaign from South Assembly. From July 30, the team of Congressmen will reach door to door. This is a big campaign of Congress in Raipur city from the area of senior BJP MLA and former Minister Brijmohan Agarwal.
Giving information about this campaign, Mayor Dhebar and Congress leaders clearly said on Monday that the victory of Congress in the South will be our target. After this, the corporation leaders will go door-to-door in the four assembly seats of the city and give information about the ongoing schemes of the Congress government in the urban areas.
In this campaign starting from the South Assembly constituency, the Mayor will undertake a padyatra along with the leaders of the City Congress Committee. Along with giving information about the schemes to the people, there will also be work to solve their problems. Regarding this, a meeting was also held at the Municipal Corporation Headquarters on Monday, in which Corporation Chairman Pramod Dubey, District Congress President Girish Dubey, Youth Congress President Akash Sharma, Sunny Agarwal also participated.
What did the mayor say on Brijmohan Agarwal in gestures
Two days ago, on July 22, Brijmohan Agarwal, BJP MLA from Raipur South, laid siege to Sharda Chowk. Had also done a chakkajam. Accusing the Municipal Corporation on issues like road widening, cleanliness, it was said to stop the development of the city.
Countering this now, Mayor Ejaz Dhebar said – BJP was in power for the last 15 years, there were two strong ministers in Raipur, they were ministers for 15 years. Then never talked about widening the road, did not talk about compensation. Now they say that what we could not do in 15 years, we should do in four and a half years.
Will widen the full square road
The mayor said – We will widen the road of Full Chowk. The Chief Minister has given 10 crores for this. We are talking to people, have started discussions. On behalf of the state government, we were told that even if it costs 40 crores, the government will give it. Survey is done before any widening, work will be completed within two months, compensation will be fixed. We will show it by widening it there. It is BJP’s habit, when elections come, they make such allegations.
Public upset due to pit
Due to the cabling work, potholes were made all over the city. The public is troubled by this, on this issue Ejaz Dhebar said – Development works are going on in the city, cabling is being done. The way the nets are laid, our city looks like a city of wires. Now if the wire is to be underground, then a pit will have to be made. It’s raining. Work is going on in difficult areas like Jai Stambh, Sadar Bazar. If there will be some problem, we will fix the entire city road in two months. Where the work has been done, the entire road has been built. The wiring work has been completed, in the same way the road will continue to be built in the entire city.
BJP is engaged in spoiling the atmosphere of the city.
Mayor Dhebar also said that the people of Bharatiya Janata Party will work to make brother fight with brother. Work will be done to create a communal atmosphere in the city. People of all castes and religions live together in Raipur city. BJP does not have election issues, so they will try to vitiate the atmosphere in the city. The people of our place are aware, understand their cleverness. We will win 4 seats in Raipur, we will fulfill the slogan of 75 paar given by the State Congress President.
Preparation of Congress to win the city
Regarding the campaign starting from July 30, District Congress President Girish Dubey said – We will tell the work of the government by going door to door, in every house in every assembly. The outline of this campaign has been fixed. With the big leaders of the state, the campaign will start from the South Assembly. The focus is on the assembly seats that we do not have.
Nigam Sabha husband Pramod Dubey said – The Congress government which came with concrete plans in the cities in 5 years is important.
