Raipur. Town and Country Planning Raipur’s official Sandeep Bangde said that master plan has been issued for 30,00,000 (estimated) population. Which is of 500 square kilometers. Earlier the master plan was of 188 square kilometers.Urban and Regional Development Plans. This master plan has been prepared according to the rules of Formulation and Implementation Guidelines (URDPFI). In which 75% of the entire area has been kept for development. 39% is the populated area, 11% has been reserved for mixed land, in which welfare related works will be done. Similarly, 1.5 FAR (floor area ratio) has been increased to 2.50 FAR. The restriction has been removed from such areas which were kept in the previous master plan for the road, where the population has settled. Provision for new route has been made. 10 percent land has been reserved for entertainment (malls, cinema etc.), 6 percent for commerce, 12% for business, while 15% land has been reserved for traffic. If the person has an objection, then he can file his objection within 30 days. which will be heard. According to the notification issued from the Secretariat, public objections and suggestions have been invited on the proposals of Raipur Development Scheme (Draft) 2031. The Directorate has expressed the hope that citizens will give their active contribution in this, so that after finalizing the said plan, Raipur city and investment area can be developed systematically.
