Raipur, 09 October 2020. Notification of sub-election for Marwahi assembly constituency of Gorella-Pendra-Marwahi district under Assembly Sub-Election-2020 has been issued today and the process of directing the names of candidates has started. Nomination papers will be available by 16 October 2020 and nomination papers will be scrutinized on 17 October. At the same time, by October 19, the name can be withdrawn from the candidate.
Election related works are being done in Marwahi Assembly constituency under Assembly Election-2020 under the guidance of Collector and District Election Officer Shri Doman Singh. In this series, according to the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, the notification of Marwahi assembly by-election has been issued today. As per the notification issued, nomination papers can be obtained by October 16, 2020 (excluding public holidays) for the candidature of the assembly by-election of the assembly constituency-24 Marwahi. The time for receiving nomination papers will be daily from 11 am to 3 pm. The nomination papers received on 17 October will be scrutinized. Candidates can withdraw their candidature by October 19.
Voting will be held on November 3 – Under Assembly bye-election 2020, voting will be held on November 3, 2020 and voting time will be from 8 am to 6 pm.
