Spread the love

Raipur, 02 June 2021.  We need self-confidence and patience at this time. There is a state of fear in the minds of people regarding Corona. Make people fear and aware. Remember that human beings have faced and conquered great diseases and calamities. Right now there is a greater need to improve mental health. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has called for defeating the corona infection while facing it with solidarity and strong will. Surely we will be able to overcome this disease. Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey said this while addressing a webinar organized by Yuva Chetana Sanstha on the topic “Corona and Rural India”. He said that initially the situation in Chhattisgarh was grim. At that time the administration made a united effort and today the second wave of corona infection in the state is coming under control.
The Governor appreciated the welfare work done by Shri Rohit Singh, the convener of Yuva Chetna Sanstha and the members of the organization during the corona transition. He said that after the weakening of the first phase, everyone was sure that the corona was gone. But gradually the corona infection started spreading again and the infection came out in the form of a storm. It showed its terrible form in the cities. Gradually it started moving towards the village and spread to many villages. Since the villagers were unaware of this infection due to lack of awareness in the villages and kept ignoring the rules of prevention from corona. Initially its symptoms were not taken seriously and the infection spread.
Ms. Uike said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had also emphasized on increasing the number of tests and health facilities in rural areas, terming it as an invisible enemy in the meeting held recently. More than half of the country’s population lives in rural areas. So we need to be more careful in villages. However, there are many villages where the infection could not reach because the people there are so aware that they stopped the movement of outsiders by putting barricades and took adequate precautions.
The Governor said that the people of rural areas lead a natural life. Therefore, there is less chance of infection affecting the people there more. But in the second phase, many people were affected due to the changing nature of the corona virus. Therefore, it is most necessary that we should be more and more aware of corona, use the mask continuously, the mask should be three layer and wear it properly so that the nose and mouth are covered. Keep three to four cloth masks and wash them thoroughly and use them again, keep washing hands frequently. Follow social distance, avoid any programs and events.
He urged the Panch-Sarpanches, Samaj Pramukhs that there is a confusion regarding the vaccine in rural areas. Make the people of your area aware and remove that confusion of vaccines and tell them that vaccine is the only effective way to avoid corona. Even after applying the vaccine, follow the measures to avoid corona.
The governor said that the second wave of corona is weakening but experts are expecting a third wave, which is likely to affect children. Teach children to wash hands and use masks. Remember that medicine as well as strictness” By adopting this mantra, we can get rid of corona infection. Now the vaccine is being produced rapidly. In the coming time, more people can be vaccinated.
The program was inaugurated by Sant Shri Swami Abhishek Brahmachari, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Gujarat, Dr. R.S. Dubey, Hari Bhoomi Editor-in-Chief Mr. Himanshu Dwivedi, Former MP Mr. Girish Sanghi, Director of AIIMS Welfare Dr. Ramji Singh, Dr. Yugal Mishra, Director of AIIMS Deoghar Dr. Saurabh Varshney, Dr. Jignesh Reddy, Dr. Ajay Singh, Mr. Manoj Goyal also addressed. On this occasion the convener of Yuva Chetna Sanstha, Mr. Rohit Singh and others were present.
