CM appreciates gymnasts and yoga practitioners in MalkhambChief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the newly constructed Indoor Stadium in Balod and extended his best wishes to the players. After reaching the indoor stadium, the Chief Minister appreciated the spirit of gymnasts and participants doing yoga at Malkhamb after seeing the artefacts and exercises. The Chief Minister said that this is an ancient method of India. With the help of Malkhamb, the seeker becomes strong and healthy as well as healthy in body and mind. Extending his blessings and best wishes to the participants training here, he motivated them to do regular practice. He suggested the trainers to make the trainers aware of the nuances of gymnasts and yoga and promote it.

The Chief Minister met national players Deepti Sahu, Chanchal Sahu, Prerna Sahu, Karun Nayak, Rajkumar Muthai, Virendra Kumar, Usha Chaudhary here. He appreciated the passion and talent of three real sisters Deepti, Chanchal and Prerna Sahu. Deepti Sahu has brought laurels to the district by winning many medals in the National Games. Kalari Pattu, Ushu, Muthai, Kick Boxing, Judo sports are also imparted in the indoor stadium. This indoor stadium provides free training by the Ex-Servicemen Service Association.

President of Ex-Servicemen Service Association, Rajkumar Sahu said that 70 youths are being given necessary training for recruitment in military and paramilitary forces. Training is being given by ex-servicemen Shri Kishore Nath Yogi, Hemant Margiya, Kanhaiya Lal, Umesh Sahu. Here Mr. Vimal Kumar Das, 70, who showed his valor in the war of 1962 and 1965, is training the youth.
