Glimpses of economic progress of women seen in Mahila Madai running in the capital. Women’s groups from all over the state have reached here with their products. Among these, the famous Kosa of Janjgir, various artifacts of Bastaria Art, delicious food products of millet, handicrafts and other decorative items mainly attracted people. Through 64 stalls in this shanty, sale cum exhibition of materials in the products of their group was organized by the women.  
District President of Korea Federation Mrs. Neelima Chaturvedi told that 15,000 women self-help groups work under the federation. More than 1.50 lakh women are associated with the Federation. Every group has an income of 50 thousand to 1 lakh rupees per month.

He told that pickles, papad, chips, poha, murra, laddu, chutney, cookies, namkeen, gram, biscuit produced by the group are given in women’s hostels, hostels, mid-day meals. Her Federation has been honored with the President and Minimata honours. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, he has said that he is sure about the sale of the products prepared by the group, because all the products are easily available in the market through C-Mart and their sale also happens quickly. . 
Mrs. Bhagbai Banjare of Sanyam self-help group of Kathrimal village of Korba district says that the women of the group make four to five hundred bulbs in a day. They make 9 volt and 12 volt bulbs. The women of the group have been doing the work of making bulbs for the last 2 years. Every member earns four to five thousand rupees per month from this. 
The noble women self-help group of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district manufactures decorative items and Manihari items and sells them by setting up stalls at various places. The special thing is that there are 20 members in the group and all are differently abled. The women of the group earn more than 30 thousand per month. On the other hand, Jashmita Bakhala of Roshni Samridhi Sarguja Co-Committee Ambikapur tells that 9 members work together to make phenyl and washing powder. Every member earns from 2 to 2.5 thousand rupees in a month.
