Maharishi Valmiki did the work of purification of the mind. He composed Ramayana and made it known to the whole world, through it told the society what is the duty of a father-son, brother to brother and husband-wife. Many legends like Maharishi Valmiki were born in our country who showed the society the right path. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said this. He was addressing the youth-girl introduction conference organized by All India Valmiki Samaj organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital.
The Chief Minister said that this type of program is being organized for the first time by Maharishi Valmiki Samaj. For this, the office bearers of the society deserve congratulations. He said that Valmiki Samaj does the work of cleanliness. This is an act of virtue. The meaning of cleanliness is purity. If there is cleanliness in the surrounding environment along with body, mind, then we will be healthy.
Mr. Baghel said that education brings awareness in the society, so our government started the Swami Atmanand English School Scheme, through which children from the poorest of the poor families are getting excellent education in English. He said that the responsibility of marriage comes after the youth-girl introduction conference, that’s why we have increased the amount for Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana to Rs 50,000. We are doing the work of Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit. Beautification work is being done in Turturia Ashram. The children presented a cultural program on the occasion.
On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Dewangan, President of Building Construction Workers Board Mr. Sunny Agarwal and office bearers of Valmiki Samaj and eminent citizens of the society were present in large numbers.
