99.90 percent of the people of Chhattisgarh state are getting livelihood by joining some or the other employment. This has been proved by the latest data released by the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). The September unemployment rate in the state of Chhattisgarh is so far its lowest level of 0.1 percent. Chhattisgarh tops in terms of lowest unemployment rate in the country.

According to the latest data released by the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) recently, the unemployment rate in Chhattisgarh has been recorded at 0.1 percent in the month of September, while in the month of September this figure of unemployment rate in the country has been 6.43 percent. The unemployment figure in the country’s urban areas is 7.70 percent and in rural areas in the month of September, 5.84 percent. The reason behind this achievement of Chhattisgarh state in the matter of minimum unemployment rate has been the plans and policies made under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to create new employment opportunities. Many such innovations have taken place in Chhattisgarh within the last four and a half years, due to which every hand has got work from city to village.

According to the report released by CMIE regarding unemployment rate on October 1, 2022, Chhattisgarh tops the states with the lowest unemployment rate in September 2022 with 0.1 per cent. At the same time, Assam is at second place with 0.4 percent in the same period. Uttarakhand ranks third with an unemployment rate of 0.5 percent. In Madhya Pradesh this figure is 0.9 percent and in Gujarat this figure is 1.6 percent. On the other hand, Rajasthan is on top in terms of highest unemployment rate in September 2022, where 23.8 percent unemployment rate has been registered. The unemployment rate is reported to be 23.2 percent in Jammu and Kashmir and 22.9 percent in Haryana. Tripura has recorded an unemployment rate of 17.0 per cent and Jharkhand 12.2 per cent.

In Chhattisgarh, the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel started working with the goal of inclusive development. In line with Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Gram Swarajya, innovations were made in the direction of economic strengthening of villages. In this, Narva-Garuva-Ghurva-Bari program played an important role under Suraji Gaon Yojana, while on the other hand Gauthans were developed as Rural Industrial Park with Godhan Nyay Yojana. Due to which the villagers got employment from selling cow dung to making cow dung products. New employment opportunities were created. From 7 to 65 types of minor forest produce were purchased on support price and processing and value addition of these minor forest produce was done. Due to this people got employment in Vananchal also. The Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana made efforts towards the economic prosperity of the farmers, while after this scheme, the interest of the excited farmers increased towards agriculture. The area under cultivation and production increased in the state. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Krishi Bhumiless Mazdoor Yojana, people associated with the Pauni-Pasari system got financial assistance. A new industrial policy was implemented in the state, in which provisions for subsidies were made in many sections and in different sectors. This gave impetus to entrepreneurship development. In which provisions for subsidies were made in many sections and in different areas. This gave impetus to entrepreneurship development. In which provisions for subsidies were made in many sections and in different areas. This gave impetus to entrepreneurship development.
