Chief Minister arrives at St. Paul’s Cathedral in the capital and wishes the people of the Christian community including Christmas: Celebrate Christmas by cutting cake
Chhattisgarhi Bible: Nava Covenant was presented to the Chief Minister who attended the Lord’s Prayer.
Raipur, 25 December 2020. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached St. Paul’s Cathedral in the capital city of Raipur today and met the people of Christian society. Attended the Lord’s Prayer and wished the people, including the Christian community, a happy Christmas on the birthday of Lord Jesus Christ and wished the Lord Jesus for happiness and prosperity for all.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said on this occasion that the Lord Jesus Christ showed us the path of love, kindness, compassion and service for the welfare of the entire human race. Today is a great day, today is a day to thank them for the mercy, love and compassion of God. We need to follow their stated path and adopt their teachings in our conduct.
The Chief Minister said that we people of Chhattisgarh are traditionally people walking on the path of love, harmony, brotherhood, compassion and mercy. The Chhattisgarh we dream of building, will be Chhattisgarh full of these qualities. The dream of building Nava Chhattisgarh is the dream of realizing the dreams of Lord Jesus Christ. Let us all get together to realize this dream as soon as possible.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister celebrated Christmas by cutting the cake with the people present in the cathedral. All those present in the church prayed to the Lord. The church’s choir performed carol songs. Christmas was celebrated at St. Paul’s Cathedral by following the Kovid-19 protocol.
Pastor Court President Mr. John Rajesh Paul and Secretary Mr. Kenas Nayak presented a copy of “Chhattisgarhi Bible: Nava Rule” to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. The Chief Minister expressed happiness and congratulations to Mr. John Rajesh Paul on receiving information about the translation of the Bible into the official language Chhattisgarhi.
