Chief Minister announced construction of Higher Secondary School Building of Lal Bahadur Nagar
Raipur, 27 February 2021. The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel lit a lamp in village Lal Bahadur Nagar of Dongargarh development block today and inaugurated the Lok Mandi and Krishi Mela. He said in his address that Lok Madai is an important folk tradition of Chhattisgarh. Here, harvesting is organized before harvest and after harvest. It is a symbol of our way of life, food and lifestyle. He said that a good exhibition has been organized along the Ram Van Gaman Path at the Lok Madi and Krishi Mela held here today. In Chhattisgarh, holiday is also being given on the festival of Hareli, Teja, World Tribal Day, Mother Karma Jayanti. We have worked to preserve and promote our Chhattisgarhi culture. In order to teach in mother tongue, children are being taught in Godi, Bhatri, Kudukh. On this occasion, he announced the construction of Higher Secondary School building in Lal Bahadur Nagar. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that important works are being done in Chhattisgarh in the field of education as well as health. Along with eliminating malnutrition and illiteracy, work is being done in different areas. Lakh has been accorded the status of farming, while minor forest produce is being purchased at the minimum support price. This year 92 lakh metric tonnes of record paddy has been purchased from 20 lakh 53 thousand farmers. In which 17 thousand 322 crore has been paid to the farmers. He said that in the time of such crisis when there was a situation of lockdown, the farmers were provided funds under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana in such times of crisis. Under this scheme, farmers have been given three installments and the fourth installment will be given before 31 March. He said that many schemes are being run by the government for the benefit of farmers.
Food and Civil Supplies Corporation Minister Shri Amarjeet Bhagat said that the Madai Mela has become the identity of the district. The efforts being made to keep the art culture intact are commendable. The culture of Chhattisgarhi village is uniquely identified. Chhattisgarhi song and music is extended to other states. The tribal dance festival was organized by the government last year. In which the artists of the country and the world performed on the same stage. The power to connect everyone is only in the culture and this work is done by the Chief Minister of the state. He said that the culture and song and music of Chhattisgarh got respect and pride. The Chief Minister did an exemplary work to identify the culture of Chhattisgarh in the country and abroad.
Industries Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma said that Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel waived the debt of farmers and bought their paddy. The farmer-friendly chief minister has come up with many schemes for the welfare of farmers. The economic condition of farmers is becoming stronger under Narva, Garuva, Ghuruva, Bari scheme, while the government is buying cow dung under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. He said that Chhattisgarh is the first state to buy Tendupatta, Tamarind, Mahua, Minnow produce for minimum support price.
Chairman Chhattisgarh State Rural and Other Backward Classes Development Authority and MLA Dongargaon Shri Daleshwar Sahu said that the Chhattisgarh government has taken forward the folk culture of the state and for the first time, Hareli, Teeja Literature and other Chhattisgarh festivals are being given a holiday. It has been organized with the affection of all. At the end of the program, Collector Mr. Topeshwar Verma proposed a vote of thanks.
