Balrampur-Ramanujganj district of Chhattisgarh is famous for its unique heritage of primitive culture and tradition, Tatapani Festival is organized every year to further this heritage. Local artists and state renowned artists gave their presentation in the cultural evening of the first day of the three-day Tatapani Mahotsav.
On this occasion, students from different schools gave a glimpse of the development of the district through dance and a wonderful presentation of traditional dances. Along with this, famous folk singers of Chhattisgarh, Aaru Sahu and Sunil Manikpuri mesmerized the audience with the magic of their melodious voice and presented Chhattisgarhi folk songs with their team.
Various schools and college students of the district enthralled the guests with the presentation of Sua, Karma, Gedi dance at the historic Sankranti Parab Tatapani Festival. Local tribal artists from different places of the district presented a glimpse of the art and culture of Chhattisgarh through their dance.
Young Sufi singers Nasir Ahmed and Narinder Pal Singh enthralled the audience with beautiful Sufi kalams and nagmes. He made his place in the hearts of the listeners by presenting every color of Sufi in a new way with the fragrance of spiritual music in his singing.
During the cultural programmes, the Tatapani festival venue was completely filled with spectators. Thousands of spectators enjoyed the cultural programs with full enthusiasm.
