Raipur. Like every year, this year too, summer camps were organised for children in schools as per the government’s order in Chhattisgarh. But keeping in mind the health of children in view of the scorching heat, the School Education Department has ordered to suspend all summer camps organised in the state with immediate effect.Actually, the state has seen a rise in temperature for the last 3 days. On Wednesday, the temperature of the state was recorded at 47 degrees which is higher than the record of the last few years. Today, on Thursday, the Meteorological Department had also issued an alert of heat wave in the state.
After which, now the Secretary of School Education Department, Siddharth Komal Pardeshi has issued a letter to all the collectors and district education officers of the state and ordered to postpone the summer camps immediately.

Let us tell you, summer camps were organized in schools for creative and versatile development of students, in which students participated enthusiastically. Many children also learned to make decorative items for the house on the theme of Best from Waste for environmental protection. In the summer camps, children learned mehndi, rangoli, embroidery, clay art, painting and other arts so that they can earn income from their art in the future.
