Chief Minister met representatives of various societies and organizations
Raipur, October 19, 2022 The Chief Minister, Shri Bhupesh Baghel, met the heads of various societies and representatives of social organizations at the rest house of Shivrinarayan Nagar in Janjgir-Champa district today and discussed about the social activities and their problems. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was felicitated by the Other Backward Classes organization by weighing him with the typical Chhattisgarhi dishes, including the typical-khurmi. A photograph was presented to the Chief Minister on behalf of the Drug Dealers Association. Congratulations and best wishes to Shri Bhupesh Baghel for becoming the most popular Chief Minister in the survey conducted by Satnami Samaj Nawagarh and Pamgarh across the country.
During the meeting of social organizations, the Chief Minister approved one crore 60 lakh rupees on the demand of representatives of various organizations. On this occasion, he instructed the officers to build a library in Shivrinarayan in the name of novelist Thakur Jagmohan Singh. The Chief Minister said that Thakur Jagmohan Singh was a famous novelist as well as a Tehsildar of Shivrinarayan. The Chief Minister directed the Collector to inspect the place and prepare a steem for setting up the statue of Maharana Pratap at Janjgir by Thakur society.
In the program, the Chief Minister also approved Rs 20 lakh for the construction of Dharamshala and Ghat to the Sikh community in the Gurudwara of Pamgarh block. Similarly, Swarnakar Samaj was sanctioned Rs.15 lakh for community building, Rs.25 lakh for Nayak Banjara Samaj for community building. Similarly, 20 lakh rupees for upgradation of Dharamshala of Kesharwani Samaj, additional room construction in Dharamshala of Devangan Samaj in Rahod and Rs 10 lakh each for Shakambhari Bhawan in Kesla, social building in Shivrinarayan on the demand of Satnami Samaj and Kenwat of Nishad Samaj. Rs.25 lakhs for hostel building, Rs.10 lakhs to Satguru Seva Samiti Pamgarh for cultural building and stage construction. On this occasion MLA Pamgarh Smt. Indu Banjare, President Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Shri Atal Shrivastava and other public representatives and officials were also present.
The Chief Minister agreed on the renaming of Parshuram Chowk and beautification of the fair site by Guru Ghasidas Satganwa Mela Committee. Approval was given for the repair of building and school of Yadav Samaj and construction of Muktidham for Sarathi Samaj, an approach road in Reenwa village of Pamgarh block. He instructed the officers to take necessary action on the demand of the Kurmi community to make Sardar Patel Chowk and make Rahod a tehsil.
