The Chief Minister said that today is a very holy day for all of us. Today, not only the Sikh community in the country and the world, but people from other societies also visit the Gurdwara on this special day to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Guru Nanak. He said that whenever there was a crisis on the human society, then the Sikh society went ahead and helped the needy and did complete service to the human society by sacrificing everything and putting their lives at stake. He said that the best example of this is, when the crisis of Corona was prevailing all over the world, it was difficult for people to talk among themselves, at a time when people from other states, from other districts, in search of employment, When relatives came for further treatment, they had no arrangement for food and other resources. Then all our Gurdwara Management Committee came first and worked to provide food to the people through their langar. It is too little to be praised. During this time, the Sikh society in Chhattisgarh did many works of service.

The Chief Minister said that if we talk about Delhi, then the Gurdwara committees gave full cooperation even on the lack of oxygen and the shortage of Remdesivir. In this society, the spirit of service is filled with code, of which no other example is found. Its example is given all over the world. I salute this society. Shri Baghel said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji also visited Chhattisgarh, he traveled from Kabir Chabutra of Amarkantak to Garhfuljhar. Where he also rested in Garhfuljhar and did penance. When the people of the society came and demanded to make such a place a tourist destination on behalf of the government, then this demand was accepted happily and also announced the development of Garhphuljhar as a tourist destination.
The Chief Minister said that I also had the privilege of offering flowers at the feet of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. During my stay in Himachal Pradesh in the past, I got the opportunity to bow down to the land where Guru Nanak Dev Ji had done penance in Una, where the descendants of Guru Nanak Dev lived, it is my good fortune. On this occasion, the Chief Minister visited the health camp. Also released a collection of poems written by Ms. Manpreet Kaur. On this occasion, the President and MLA of Chhattisgarh Home Construction Board, Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Minorities Commission Mr. Mahendra Chhabra, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar and representatives of Sikh society were present.
