Renowned artists tied the knot with melodious songs and music

The three-day long Kudargarh Mahotsav at the abode of Goddess Maa Bageshwari, the presiding deity of Surajpur zone, began on late Sunday evening with folk traditional songs. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam inaugurated the Kudargarh Festival. On the first day, melodious songs and music presented in different genres by renowned artistes set the tone. Apart from the tunes of traditional folk music, people danced on classical dance and bhajans in the festival. Parliamentary Secretary Shri Parasnath Rajwade presided over the inauguration ceremony.
School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Parasnath Rajwada congratulated and wished the people of the region on the occasion of Chaitra Navratri festival. On this occasion, Dr. Tekam sought blessings from Goddess Maa Bageshwari, the presiding deity of Surajpur zone, for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. On the inauguration of the festival, Chhattisgarh State Urdu Board Member Mr. Ismail Khan, District Panchayat Vice President Mr. Naresh Rajwade, Mrs. Bhagwati Rajwade, DDC, BDC, People’s Representatives, Collector Ms. Iffat Ara, Superintendent of Police Mr. Ramkrishna Sahu, SECL General Manager Mr. Amit Saxena, District Panchayat CEO Ms. Leena Kosam, President of Kudargarh Mela Committee Mr. Bhuvan Bhaskar Pratap Singh, members of the trust, citizens, administrative and police department officials were present.
On the first day of the festival Odissi dance by dancer Dr. Purnashree Raut, little star Om Agrahari presented. Similarly, Nasir Khan presented Sufi singing, BGM musical group, Bhajan Samrat Dilip Shadangi presented Ama Paan Ke Patri, Karela Paan Ke Dona. Renowned artists of the state graced the festival through traditional folk music. On the third day, traditional dance, Manas Mandali and various sports competitions will be organized on the concluding day of the Kudargarh Festival.
