Members of Kopalvani, Child Welfare Organization and children under the leadership of Mrs. Shesha Saxena called on Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan today. The Governor also gave chocolates to the children and pampered them. The deaf children also thanked the Governor in sign language.
Mrs. Saxena informed the Governor about the work being done by Kopalvani Sanstha. He said that Kopalvani is a residential school for differently-abled children, where attention is paid to the physical and mental development of differently-abled children through education as well as other activities.
During this, the members invited the Governor to participate in the program focused on children by the institute in the coming days. Along with this, Kopalvani’s former student and current teacher presented a painting of Adashiv made by her to the Governor.
It is worth mentioning that among the girls who met the Governor today, those girls were also included, who had received financial assistance from the Governor under a special initiative. Mrs. Padma Sharma and Dr. Preeti Upadhyay were present on the occasion.
