Garden, glass house and restaurant will be constructed
Bhumi Pujan done for tourism development works

In order to promote water tourism in the state, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Shri Atal Shrivastava and other public representatives today performed Bhoomi Pujan of Glass House restaurant and tourism development works in the island of Khuntaghat reservoir in Bilaspur district. On this occasion, Mayor Mr. Ramsharan Yadav, Ch. Tourism Board Vice President Mrs. Chitrarekha Sahu, along with many public representatives and officials of the Water Resources Department were present.
Tourism Board President Mr. Atal Srivastava said that Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has approved an amount of Rs 2.95 crore for the development work of national level glass house restaurant and public facilities in the island in Khuntaghat reservoir. It will be very attractive and unique for the tourists. This glass restaurant will have a seating capacity of 50-60 people at a time. He said that due to the construction works, the number of tourists will increase significantly in Khuntaghat, as well as observation of the panoramic view around the reservoir from the Glass House restaurant will provide a very pleasant experience to the tourists.
It is notable that the construction work of Glass House restaurant, tourism development will be done through Water Resources Department, Bilaspur. This construction will be completely on the basis of eco-tourism. All work will be done while preserving the environment.
