Raipur: Jamun Bai’s dream came true

 Raipur, 12 October 2020. His dream has been realized by Jamun Bai getting employment with a pucca house. The problem of housing problem has been solved after the family of Jamuni Bai of village Harritola of Sonhat, a development block in Koriya district, got a pucca house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Through Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission, he has also started a grocery shop. Jamun Bai’s dream has come true now. Got a home and also a means of income. Jamuni and her family are very happy today and have expressed their gratitude to the government.

    Jamuni Bai states that she belongs to a poor family. He too had a dream of a pucca house like others. She is a member of Jai Maa Kali Self Help Group. Group chair Kusum Yadav guided the Jamuni. Taking advantage of the guidance, he got out the amount of CIF 20 thousand and opened a grocery shop. She is now leading a happy life with her family. Not only this, all the members belonging to this group are earning benefits by doing stitching, agriculture, beauty parlor and other work according to their capacity.
