Raipur, 01 February 2022. According to the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, pure drinking water is being supplied in rural areas on the instructions of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar. In this episode, Mungeli Collector Shri Ajit Vasant today took a meeting of District Water and Sanitation Mission constituted under Jal Jeevan Mission. In the meeting, Collector Shri Vasant gave retrofitting, tap water supply scheme, solar based single village scheme, electricity based single village scheme and contract and issued work orders under online tender and running water for children in schools and Anganwadi centers in the meeting. Reviewed in detail the progress of works etc. In the meeting, he directed the officers to expedite the works of the schemes.
On this occasion, various works worth Rs.7 crore 17 lakh seventy-six thousand were approved under the single tap water supply scheme. Of these, one crore 60 lakh for village Pandotra of Mungeli development block, one crore 8 lakh 55 thousand for village Khuzaha, one crore 13 lakh 79 thousand for village Karupan, one crore 83 lakh 48 thousand for village Kuangon, 95 lakh 46 thousand for village Chuiha and one crore 15 lakh 88 thousand for village Karidongri of development block Lormi includes approval of administrative approval for various works. Similarly, payment of bills for contractual works and non-contractual bill payments of various villages was also approved in the meeting. On this occasion, Member Secretary of District Water and Sanitation Mission and Executive Engineer of Public Health Engineering Department gave detailed information regarding the progress of works of Jal Jeevan Mission. Members of the Water and Sanitation Mission including Chief Executive Officer of Zila Panchayat Mr. Dashrath Singh Rajput were present in the meeting.
