Raipur district at the forefront of providing domestic tap connections

The work of providing free domestic tap connections in the rural areas of the state is being done at a fast pace. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the state, 27 lakh 80 thousand 638 domestic tap connections have been given as against 50 lakh 12 thousand 134 families being given domestic tap connections under this campaign. Along with this, arrangements have been made to supply pure drinking water through tap taps in 39 thousand 113 schools, 37 thousand 501 Anganwadi centers and 15 thousand 614 gram panchayat buildings and community sub-health centers of the state. Raipur district of Chhattisgarh is at the forefront in providing domestic tap connections to maximum 01 lakh 41 thousand 471 rural families. Similarly, in Janjgir-Champa district 01 lakh 41 thousand 188, in Mahasamund district 01 lakh 36 thousand 342 households are on second and third place respectively in providing domestic tap connections.
Under this Jal Jeevan Mission, being run under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and under the guidance of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, pure drinking water is being made available at the rate of 55 liters per person per day in the state, for this action plan in all districts Getting ready and working fast. Under this mission, in addition to domestic tap connections, arrangements for running water are also being made in schools, sub-health centers and Anganwadi centers. It is noteworthy that Secretary Public Health Engineering Dr. S. Bharathidasan and Mission Director Shri Alok Katiyar are continuously monitoring the implementation of the works of Jal Jeevan Mission including Single Village Scheme and Multi Village Scheme and other drinking water schemes in the state at the ground level.
Under Jal Jeevan Mission, 01 lakh 29 thousand 469 households in Dhamtari district, 01 lakh 25 thousand 061 in Raigarh district, 01 lakh 22 thousand 107 in Kawardha, 01 lakh 21 thousand 211 in Bilaspur, 01 lakh 19 thousand 841 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara Tap connections are provided. Similarly, 01 lakh 15 thousand 048 tap connections have been given in Durg district, 01 lakh 13 thousand 345 in Mungeli and 01 lakh 11 thousand 692 in Rajnandgaon district. Similarly, 01 lakh 11 thousand 575 in Bemetara district, 01 lakh 11 thousand 388 in Balod, 01 lakh 5 thousand 215 in Sakti, 88 thousand 620 in Gariaband, 86 thousand 759 in Balrampur, 85 thousand 377 in Jashpur, 83 thousand in Surguja district. Domestic tap connections have been given for 834, 84 thousand 111 in Korba, 78 thousand 233 in Surajpur for pure drinking water. 79 thousand 353 in Bastar, 74 thousand 483 in Kondagaon, 72 thousand 538 in Kanker, 58 thousand 039 in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 47 thousand 993 in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 42 thousand 634 in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur,
