Janjgir-Champa district first, Rajnandgaon second and Raigad third in providing domestic tap connections

The work of providing free domestic tap connections in the rural areas of the state is being done at a fast pace. So far, 23 lakh 84 thousand 590 domestic tap connections have been given under the campaign being run for the supply of pure drinking water in the houses under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the state. Along with this, arrangements have been made to supply pure drinking water through tap taps in 43 thousand 971 schools, 41 thousand 693 Anganwadi centers and 17 thousand 290 gram panchayat buildings and community sub-health centers of the state. In which Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh is first in providing domestic tap connections to maximum 2 lakh 9 thousand 494 rural families. Similarly, Rajnandgaon district is on second and third place respectively in providing domestic tap connections to 1 lakh 68 thousand 128 families and Raigarh district to 1 lakh 37 thousand 018 families.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, being run under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and under the guidance of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, pure drinking water is being made available at the rate of 55 liters per person per day in the state, for this an action plan has been prepared in all the districts. Taxes are being done fast. Under this mission, in addition to domestic tap connections, arrangements for running water are also being made in schools, sub-health centers and Anganwadi centers. Simultaneously, the implementation of the works of Jal Jeevan Mission including Single Village Scheme and Multi Village Scheme and other drinking water schemes in the state at the ground level, Secretary Public Health Engineering Dr. S. Constant monitoring is being done by Bharathidasan and Mission Director Mr. Alok Katiyar.
So far under Jal Jeevan Mission, 1 lakh 68 thousand 128 in Rajnandgaon district, 1 lakh 37 thousand 018 in Raigarh district, 1 lakh 33 thousand 061 in Raipur district, 1 lakh 21 thousand 962 in Dhamtari district, 1 lakh 17 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara Thousand 411, 1 lakh 16 thousand 476 in Mahasamund district, 1 lakh 8 thousand 882 in Kawardha, 1 lakh 3 thousand 267 in Durg, 1 lakh 01 thousand 592 in Bilaspur district and 99 thousand 806 in Bemetara district have been given tap connections.
