Janjgir-Champa is at the forefront of providing domestic tap connections

The work of providing free domestic tap connections in the rural areas of the state is being done at a fast pace. So far, 22 lakh 40 thousand 711 domestic tap connections have been given under the campaign being run for the supply of pure drinking water in the houses under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the state. Along with this, arrangements have been made to supply pure drinking water through tap taps in 43 thousand 942 schools, 41 thousand 676 Anganwadi centers and 17 thousand 289 gram panchayat buildings and community sub-health centers of the state. In which Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh is at the forefront of providing domestic tap connections to maximum 1 lakh 95 thousand 387 rural families.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, being run under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and under the guidance of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, pure drinking water is being made available at the rate of 55 liters per person per day in the state, for this an action plan has been prepared in all the districts. Taxes are being done fast. Under this mission, in addition to domestic tap connections, arrangements for running water are also being made in schools, sub-health centers and Anganwadi centers. Along with the implementation of the works of Jal Jeevan Mission, Secretary Public Health Engineering Dr. S. Constant monitoring is being done by Bharathidasan and Mission Director Mr. Alok Katiyar.
So far under Jal Jeevan Mission 1 lakh 59 thousand 708 in Rajnandgaon district, 1 lakh 30 thousand 123 in Raipur district, 1 lakh 26 thousand 153 in Raigarh district, 1 lakh 19 thousand 022 in Dhamtari district, 1 lakh 9 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara Thousand 568, 1 lakh 7 thousand 100 in Mahasamund district, 1 lakh 4 thousand 725 in Kawardha, 97 thousand 237 in Durg, 94 thousand 880 in Bilaspur district and 94 thousand 654 in Bemetara district have been given tap connections. Similarly, 88 thousand 978 in Balod, 88 thousand 606 in Mungeli, 75 thousand 915 in Gariaband, 65 thousand 156 in Jashpur, 62 thousand 253 in Surguja district, 62 thousand 007 in Balrampur, Kanker 61 thousand 030, 60 thousand 542 in Bastar, Korba 59 thousand 586 in Surajpur 57 thousand 937, Korea 56 thousand 383, Kondagaon 55 thousand 450, Bijapur 22 thousand 317, Sukma 23 thousand 376, Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi 22 thousand 278,
