Domestic tap connections to more than 1.47 lakh families in Janjgir-Champa

The work of providing free domestic tap connections in the rural areas of the state is being done at a fast pace. 16 lakh 95 thousand 222 domestic tap connections have been given so far under the campaign being run for the supply of pure drinking water in the houses under the Jal Jeevan Mission in the state. Along with this, arrangements have been made to supply pure drinking water through tap taps in 43 thousand 844 schools, 41 thousand 661 Anganwadi centers and 17 thousand 278 gram panchayat buildings and community sub-health centers of the state. In which maximum number of 1 lakh 47 thousand 816 rural families have been given household tap connections in Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, which is being run under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and under the guidance of Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudrakumar, an action plan has been prepared in all the districts to provide pure drinking water at the rate of 55 liters per person per day in the state. Work is being done fast. Under this mission, in addition to domestic tap connections, arrangements for running water are also being made in schools, sub-health centers and Anganwadi centers.
So far under Jal Jeevan Mission 1 lakh 23 thousand 594 in Rajnandgaon district, 1 lakh 3 thousand 18 in Raipur district, 1 lakh 2 thousand 414 in Raigarh district, 1 lakh 673 in Dhamtari district, 84 thousand 405 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Bemetara 79,994, Kawardha 82 thousand 415, Durg 76 thousand 285, 77 thousand 618 in Bilaspur district and 74 thousand 285 tap connections have been given in Mahasamund district. Similarly, Gariaband 63 thousand 539, Bijapur 18 thousand 804, Kanker 53 thousand 333, Narayanpur 10 thousand 355, Mungeli 59 thousand 904, Balod 62 thousand 54, Dantewada 17 thousand 300, Kondagaon 37 thousand 709, Bastar 48 thousand 227, 38 thousand 482 in Korea, 16 thousand 816 in Sukma, 17 thousand 558 in Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi, 37 thousand 669 in Surajpur, 45 thousand 388 in Jashpur, 43 thousand 411 in Korba, 37 thousand 392 in Balrampur and Surguja district Domestic tap connections have been given to 34 thousand 728 rural families.
