   It is noteworthy that in the World Karate Championship held in UAE, Sneha Banjare of Korba district has won the silver medal in the 68 kg senior category. Players from 84 countries of the world participated in the competition. 49 players were selected from India, in which Sneha was selected as the only player from Chhattisgarh. Sneha had reached the finals in her category by defeating participants from 11 countries. In the final he faced the Egyptian player and won the silver medal. Sneha is currently a MPEd final year student at Gurughasidas University. As a player, Sneha has won many medals.
