Youth from Chhattisgarh will represent India in World Youth Festival Russia

8 youth of the state will be part of the team from India participating in the World Youth Festival to be organized in Sochi city of Russia from March 1 to 7. These youth met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today at his office in the Assembly complex and gave this information under the leadership of Beltara MLA Shri Sushant Shukla. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai called it a big achievement for Chhattisgarh and gave his blessings and good wishes to the youth. He told the youth that you are getting a proud opportunity to represent the state as well as your country. All of you are going there from the country of Swami Vivekananda. You are the representative of India, show a glimpse of our great cultural tradition there.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that all of you should carry within you the fragrance of your country as well as Chhattisgarh, so that the people of Russia know more about this state and they are eager to come here. He said that they should share their thoughts about the religious, cultural and rich historical heritage of India with their colleagues from all the countries including Russia participating in the Youth Festival.
It is noteworthy that the World Youth Festival is being organized in Sochi city of Russia from March 1 to March 7, 2024, in which about 20 thousand youth from 193 countries will participate. A group of youth from India is going to Russia to participate in the Youth Festival, in which 8 youth from Chhattisgarh have also been selected. During the meeting with the Chief Minister, the delegates from Chhattisgarh included Shri Peshiram Jaiswal, Nitesh Sahu, Siddharth Shukla, Udayan Sharma, Ritesh Kalwani, Aviral Thakur, Udit Singh and Ms. Khushi Singh were present.
