39th Chakradhar Samaroh from 07 to 16 September
Renowned artists will perform

Collector Raigarh Shri Kartikeya Goyal and Superintendent of Police Shri Divyaang Patel met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today at his residence in the capital Raipur and invited him to attend the 39th Chakradhar Samaroh. The Chief Minister accepted the invitation and wished him for the successful organization of the ceremony.
The Chief Minister said that Chakradhar Samaroh is the identity of Raigarh. International and nationally renowned artists have enhanced its glory by performing in the ceremony. He said that I have been an MP from Raigarh and have seen this event closely. Shri Sai said that I also have an emotional attachment to the ceremony. Maharaja Chakradhar has handed over an invaluable cultural heritage to Raigarh, which is continuously prospering. The popularity of the ceremony can be gauged from the fact that artists and art lovers wait for this ceremony throughout the year. Chief Minister Shri Sai also asked to include local folk artists prominently in the ceremony.
Collector Shri Kartikeya Goyal shared important information related to the event with the Chief Minister. He said that this year too, there will be performances by big artists in the 10-day long ceremony. Along with this, local folk artists will also exhibit their art in the ceremony.
It is worth noting that the 39th Chakradhar Samaroh will be organized from 07 to 16 September 2024 at Ramlila Maidan located at Raigarh district headquarters. In the opening ceremony, Padmashree Hema Malini will present the dance drama ‘Radha Rasbihari’ and in the closing ceremony, Dr. Kumar Vishwas will recite poetry. During the ceremony, in the cultural evening organized every day from 6 pm, renowned artists will give performances in various genres.
