Raipur. 21 January 2022. The number of tests is being increased continuously for the identification of corona infected in the state. Last week, between January 14 and January 20, three lakh 44 thousand 870 samples were tested. Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdev has instructed the department to test maximum number of samples daily to control the corona infection. On his instructions, the number of daily tests has been increased by the Health Department in all the districts. At present, an average of 49 thousand 267 samples are being tested daily across the state, whereas in the last week of December last month, between December 25 and December 31, this average was 20 thousand 256. About two and a half times more samples are being tested daily than in December.
60 thousand 257 on 14 January, 56 thousand 717 on 15 January, 32 thousand 563 on 16 January, 38 thousand 064 on 17 January, 50 thousand 258 on 18 January, 54 thousand 600 on 19 January and on 20 January across the state. 52 thousand 411 samples have been tested.
